All Corbett Jungle Safari within the Corbett National Park is regulated by the Forest Department, and all tourists require to get permits and bookings in order to visit the Jim Corbett National Park. Jungle Safari is possible with department-approved Jeeps, Elephants and in Canters that are run by the forest department of Corbett National Park.
Jungle Safaris is possible in the following zones - Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, and Durgadevi. We will be happy to help you visit the zone of your choice, with online bookings for a safari within Corbett National Park.
We will provide an exclusive jeep for your group along with a trusted driver cum guide who has expert knowledge of the park and the wildlife within. In some zones, the forest department also provides a second guide who will join the jeep and help in spotting and tracking wildlife.
In the Dhikala zone, jeep safaris are possible only for guests who have also booked a stay in the forest guest house. The jeep will remain exclusively for your group throughout the duration of your stay in the park.
In all other zones (Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi, Sitavani and Corbett Landscapes), morning and evening safaris are possible for 4 hours duration each for Rs 3500/- only (*please contact to confirm prices).
The Elephant safari is an enormous jumble of diverse modes to watch the natural world and notably to an attachment within the ‘lord of the jungle’; the major magnetism being travelling the pachyderm for such an extensive period of time.
The Elephant safari is possible only for those visitors who have previously booked for night stay privileges inside the Corbett National Park for Dhikala or Bijrani Forest Rest houses. This facility is not available in any other rest house inside the Corbett National Park.
We can book elephant safaris via the forest department which gives tourists the chance to explore the jungle. Elephant safari is organized by the forest department of Corbett National Park only in selected zones, and we will take responsibility for all the bookings and formalities for the elephant safari.
A canter trip through the plentiful trails across Chairs is contented with the unearthing of wild elephants. Canter Safari Booking procedure at Corbett are guided by the forest officials of Jim Corbett National Park as per the guidelines of India’s forest department. Please note that we cannot change the safari zone, safari driver and the biologist guide as it is not in our hand. It is only decided by the forest officials. Though all the zones have a good population of tigers and wildlife sightings are reported more or less the same. These features are controlled by the automated computerized system to assure the equal distribution of safari vehicles in several zones. Canter safari is very famous in Jim Corbett National Park, which comprises a vehicle that is capable of carrying 18 tourists passenger at once. Canter safari is perfectly fit for a large group of family and friends or corporate groups. It is the best way to travel the wilderness of the national park along with the elephant safari. Canter vehicles accessibility is limited to only the Dhikala zone and due to which vehicles are limited so it’s prudent to book the tour in advance. It takes around 5 hours to get through the Dhikala zone. This is the only convenient choice for day visitors to explore the unbeatable wildlife of Dhikala. Moreover, a maximum of 4 canters can go inside the zone in a single time. For our tourists, we can make bookings on the canter safari as well.
